Vx570 Troubleshooting Steps

Q – Does the Verifone Vx570 Support Pulse Lines?

 Yes, to enable on a (Pulse Line), you must add the following code (DP) in the (Prefix) field.

Q – Does the Verifone Vx570 IP Support Wireless Connection?

 No, the Verifone Vx570 IP will not function on a (Wireless) network.

Q - Does the Verifone Vx570 IP Support TCP/IPv6 Protocols?

- No

Q - Why did the Ping Fail?

Do the following:

1. Ensure the Network Cable is plug into the back of the Verifone Vx570's 10Base Port.

2. Ensure the other end of the Network Cable is plug into the Customer's Router.

3. Confirm with the Customer that they are able to browse the Internet if they have a computer at the location.

4. Ensure the (Terminal ID, Kindex & UTK) are correct.

5. Release the (Kindex)

6. Update the Primary Server address from (nowprepay.ods.org) to (72.15.145.171).

7. Re-Authenticate.

- Remember, you cannot send a Ping to the Server until the Terminal has been authenticated.

Q - Does eFresh 6.3.3 Support Boost RTR Activations?

 No, the Terminal must be running eFresh 7.2.6 or higher in order to use Boost RTR.

Q - How to Print the Current Invoice?

- Do the following:

1. Login as the Manager using (54321) and press (Enter).

2. Select (Reports)

3. Scroll down and select (Current Invoice).

4. The Terminal will download the (Current Billing Period) Invoice.

Q - How to Print the Previous Invoice?

- Do the following:

1. Login as the Manager using (54321) and press (Enter).

2. Select (Reports)

3. Scroll down and select (Previous Invoice).

4. Enter in the Billing Period Date, (For example: YY-MM-DD) and press (Enter).

5. The Terminal will download the (Specific Billing Period) Invoice.

Q - Why do I receive a Unable to activate Share or more Devices Required by the application are Unavailable?

 This could indicate a problem due to Security Certificate Error with eFresh or a third party application is tying up the resources of a specific device on the Terminal. If you experience this error message, please escalate to the IT Department for further investigation.

Q - Where to plug the Ethernet Cable?

- The Ethernet Cable should be plug into the back of the Terminal's port call (10BaseT).

Q - Why does eFresh report the Year 2016?

- Do the following:

1. Advise the Merchant do not run the (End of Day) report.

2. Run the (Detail Report) and enter the specific Date/Time range.

3. The Terminal will print out all Transactions processed within the specific period.

- Remember, this reporting bug is isolated to eFresh 2.28c, 6.2.0, 6.3.3 Only.
