When new Time Series Data is added to the CWMS database, the API places an entry in a queue indicating what just happened. The CCP Subscriber handles data from that queue. It determines if any computation depend on the new data, and if so, it adds entries to the CP_COMP_TASKLIST table. This causes the computations to be run.
We have seen cases where the subscriber fails. This is not a normal use case. Please contact HEC CWMS tech support if you suspect this has happened.
To restart the subscriber:
A) Login as CCP DB user;
B) Run the commands from SQL*PLUS
define subscriber_name = CCP_SUBSCRIBER;
p_subscriber_name => '&subscriber_name'
