What to do with extra yolks?

 Question: When making an angel food cake  what do I do with all of the extra egg yolks???

Answer: This is a great question because none of us can afford to throw away edible food any more! Egg yolks can freeze individually in ice trays or scrambled together in a glass jar. These can be kept frozen for up to 6 months. They can be used in future recipes that call for a yolk such as custards, mayonnaise, holandaise sauce and other creamy recipes. I like to keep them in ice trays because you can use one at a times as a recipe calls for yolks.

[Helpful]    Ha! I forgot about egg yolks for Custard. Now I have the perfect reason to make Custard. Oh My, I must use the Frozen Egg Yolks. It almost 6 months. they can't go to
